Tiller Design

Our Team Our Team

Our team has excellent creative and technical experience consisting of creative industrial designers, product designers, design engineers, mechanical engineers, design managers, project managers, systems engineers and product certification managers.

Our industrial designers have both local and international experience, acquired from working with leading product & industrial design consultancies and in-house teams for some of the worlds leading brands and manufacturers. They are talented individuals that combined can offer true depth of experience in all aspects of product development.

We integrate with teams to build relationships with clients working closely with in-house teams to understand their strategies, technology and manufacturing requirements. We provide inspiration not competition to in-house teams. Acting as a catalyst, we offer an objective, external point-of-view. In this way, we can bring momentum to stalled design processes.

Le Bastia published in SoloMoto

Le Bastia published in SoloMoto

Industrial Designer Dan Anderson has had his concept bike published in Spanish Motorbike magazine SoloMoto30 Issue number 327.

A near-future concept bike, La Bestia takes its styling cues from the glory days of the past. Long, low and with lines parallel to the ground, La Bestia creates its visual impact with its muscular stance rather than the sharp anime angles of todays bikes.

Dan is one of Tiller Designs newest Industrial Designers and brings an exciting appreciation of form and function.

The Portable BBQ's Cultural Advance Continues

The Portable BBQ's Cultural Advance Continues

Neo Buddy and E2go portable BBQ’s from Everdure, have just been short listed in this years Australian International Design Awards.

Designed by Tiller Design with the passion only of the thought of a hot summer afternoon on the beach can muster. We are thrilled that this range of BBQ’s has reached the design awards shortlist.

With the same cultural impact an innovative kimchi fridge has in Korea, these BBQ’s are set to bring that wafting smell of steak to a park near you.

Sorry to all the vegetarians out there - we did provide split hot plates so you can enjoy a veggie burger or two.

Tiller Design are leading Product Designers based in Sydney, We help clients innovate and add value through design.

Enjoy your coffee and paper in the morning?

Whilst sipping an exceptional espresso from Otto on Australia Day, I turned the page of the Sydney Morning Herald to find an article sharing the excellent design and quality of the Otto with its readers. Later we learnt the good people of Melbourne were enjoying the same experience through a story in the Melbourne Age.

The real story is the engineering and industrial design excellence behind the patented Otto, which has created new ground in home coffee making, and enjoying sales around the world. Read the full Brewing up a business story in the The Sydney Morning Herald.

Congratulations Jo!

It is always exciting when one of our Industrial Designers gets their work recognised.

Joseph Ormrod - Senior Industrial Designer with Tiller Design was a finalist in this years entrants. Making the top 10 with his elegant Genus-Side Table, Jo made enough money to buy us all a drink and have plenty of change for… well, we are still waiting to here what he spent it on.

Congratulations from all the team at Tiller Design. Take a look at Jo’s table in the Bombay Sapphire Design Discovery Award 09 article.
