Nubian Grey Water Cuts Water Usage By 45%

Tiller Design worked with Nubian systems through 2006 to create a highly efficient greywater recycling product. Robert Tiller is a happy customer of one of the first units.

In the climate of severe water restrictions Roberts house now recycles up to 65% of its water using one of the Nubian systems. Total water consumption is now lower than a single person dwelling according to Sydney water statistics. Not bad for a three person house with a thirsty vegie patch.

    The Evolution Has Started

Tiller Design and SmartAV have created “The Smart Console™”, the first mixing control surface incorporating patented ARC technology™.

The smart consoles are a new breed that seriously raise the bar of ergonomic efficiency associated with mixing and editing large numbers of channels. ARC Technology uses a physical ARC to present and unify the functions of interrogation and channel selection. Simply touch the strip, the desired channel and the channels surrounding it immediately appear in front of the operator, as though the operator had instantaneously moved in front of those channels on a traditional long console. With this single touch, 800 previously out of reach controls snap to within reach. Even the handwritten channel description is transferred to the strips in front of you.

We have had a strong history in the console industry and have worked feverishly with SmartAV to create the smart console. It is immensely exciting and rewarding to be part of a revolution in this industry.

Coke Launches Tracker Can in USA

Coke has launched a GSM / GPS phone in the guise of a can across the United States of America. When found and activated the location of the phone is tracked via satellite and prizes are flown in for immediate delivery to the lucky winner.

Who did the global advertising company Momentum Worldwide and Coke turn to for the product design, development and production management of the Phone? Tiller Design.

We are very excited to see the launch of the unexpected summer campaign across the US and it’s fantastic to see the GSM / GPS mobile phone disguised as a can achieving so much press. We had a great time working alongside many talented people. It will be an American summer I’ll never forget!
