Challenge

Everdure is an Australian company and one of the largest and well established suppliers of domestic barbecues throughout Australia.

 

Building on a strong 4 year relationship, Everdure asked Tiller Design to a range of barbeques for lovers of outdoor cooking that would be superior to the most advanced, indoor and outdoor cooking systems.

Solution

Tiller Design drew inspiration from the Danish home ware designers of the 1940s and 50s whose minimalist creations set the standard for modern design. The integrated design features 304 grade stainless steel hood, fascia, fascia cover and cupboard doors along with a vitreous enamel body and powder coated trolley combined with an Integrated lighting and patented cooking system.

 

Through sustainable design practises Tiller Design has been able to minimise the use of material by replacing a support frame with a sheet metal only construction. The choice of material has been made to ensure product longevity and material efficiency.

Result

The E Series barbecues outperform the most advanced indoor and outdoor cooking systems. A patent pending multi-function cooking system means different cooking methods can be achieved from the same barbeque, this includes wok, smoking, roasting and a pizza oven as well as various pan combinations makes it one of the most versatile and healthy barbecues in the world.

 

The combination of a hood with window, internal lighting and heat control system allows the cooking process to be monitored without having to open the hood and lose valuable heat. This enables more gas efficient barbecuing. The plate design traps and distributes heat evenly, avoiding cold spots which make Everdure’s E Series barbecues more energy efficient.
