Community
Driving design thinking to benefit the community is important, creating sustainable product design solutions that meet the sensitivities of society, cultural diversity, and environmental impact is imperative. Community can mean a local perspective to a global perspective.
Tiller Design strives to create commercially successful products that also consider the holistic impact the product will have in use and at the end of its life. We have a unique opportunity to help educate and set new measures of product acceptance for consumers.
Working with our team, local schools and University students we help spread the need to make products more meaningful and full filling. We give our community help by leveraging our design thinking skills into broader problem solving.
Industrial Designers are able to apply design thinking in amazing ways. When we work on your project the larger issue of community impact, acceptance and desire is being considered.

Le Bastia published in SoloMoto
Tiller Design
Industrial Designer Dan Anderson has had his concept bike published in Spanish Motorbike magazine SoloMoto30 Issue number 327.
A near-future concept bike, La Bestia takes its styling cues from the glory days of the past. Long, low and with lines parallel to the ground, La Bestia creates its visual impact with its muscular stance rather than the sharp anime angles of todays bikes.
Dan is one of Tiller Designs newest Industrial Designers and brings an exciting appreciation of form and function.

Enjoy your coffee and paper in the morning?
Tiller Design
Whilst sipping an exceptional espresso from Otto on Australia Day, I turned the page of the Sydney Morning Herald to find an article sharing the excellent design and quality of the Otto with its readers. Later we learnt the good people of Melbourne were enjoying the same experience through a story in the Melbourne Age.
The real story is the engineering and industrial design excellence behind the patented Otto, which has created new ground in home coffee making, and enjoying sales around the world. Read the full Brewing up a business story in the The Sydney Morning Herald.

There Just Isn’t Enough Shrimp.
Tiller Design
Tiller Design have been working very closely with Everdure to redesign a complete range of BBQ’s. This month we see the NEO range of Barbecue’s launched with exceptional success.
There are a couple for things close to all the hearts of our team. One is good food and the other is something to cook it on while sharing a beer. We have had a great time working with everyone at Everdure and enjoyed all the product testing, in fact its such an important element to good design we have decided to test all the BBQ’s at least once a week, if you’re passing the office and can smell something delicious drop in.
Visit the Everdure Barbecues site and click on the NEO range images for a closer look.
