Today James Cameron’s submarine descended and safely returned from the planet’s deepest chasm, the Challenger Deep fissure in the Pacific Ocean’s Mariana Trench, completing an historic solo dive. When Cameron reached the bottom he was almost seven miles from the surface of the sea. On board his Australian designed submarine were two V200 emergency location beacons. The V200 was designed by Tiller Design and Mobilarm, a leading global supplier of Personal Locator Beacons.
